About Six Towns Recovery
An independent recovery business built on one idea: when your vehicle stops, you should reach a local person who answers the phone, tells you the truth, and turns up.
Why “Six Towns”?
Stoke-on-Trent was stitched together from six towns —Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke, Fenton and Longton — and locals have argued about which matters most ever since. We did not want to pick a side. The name takes in the whole city: wherever you are across the six and beyond, you are on our patch.
How we work
Every job starts with a conversation, not a queue. You tell us where the vehicle is and what has happened; we tell you whether we can help, when we can get there, and what it will cost. The price is agreed before the truck moves and settled by cash or bank transfer — simple on both sides.
We do emergency recovery around the clock and planned transport by arrangement: breakdowns, accident recovery, misfuelled cars, vans, auction collections and non-runners. What we do not do is over-promise. If a job needs equipment or capacity we do not have, we will say so on the phone — not at the kerbside an hour later.
Careful by default
Most of what we move matters to somebody — the car that gets you to work, the van that earns your living, the project that has taken three winters so far. Winching, loading, strapping and unloading get done properly every time, because doing it properly is quicker than doing it twice.
The truck is a compact flatbed: low loading angle, winch for non-runners, amber beacons so you can spot us coming. Small enough for terraced streets and multi-storey car parks, which is most of what this city is made of.
