Who we are

Six Towns Recovery is a vehicle recovery service operating in and around Stoke-on-Trent, run as a sole trader. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect and why

We collect only what is needed to respond to your enquiry and carry out recovery or transport work.

• When you call or message us — your phone number, your location, and the details you give about the vehicle and what has happened.
• When you use the quote form — the details you enter: name, phone number, optional email address, pickup and destination, vehicle details and anything you add in the message box.

We use this to respond to you, provide the service you asked about, and keep basic records of work carried out. We do not use it for marketing lists, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

How form submissions are processed

The quote form is processed by Netlify, who host this website. Submissions are stored securely in the site's hosting account so we can read and respond to them. Netlify's own privacy policy is atnetlify.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated and, where required, you will be asked for consent first.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and meet basic record-keeping obligations, then delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call or email us using the details above and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
