Emergency service
Accident Recovery
After a collision, the priority is people, then the vehicle. Once everyone is safe and any emergency-service involvement is finished, we recover the damaged vehicle carefully and take it where it needs to go.

Safety first — always
If anyone is injured, the road is blocked, or there is any doubt at all, call 999 before you call us. The police and ambulance service deal with the emergency; we deal with the vehicle afterwards.
When the scene is safe, call us with the location and a description of the damage. Accident-damaged vehicles often do not roll or steer, so tell us what state the vehicle is in — it affects the equipment and approach we use.
Damaged vehicles need careful handling
A damaged vehicle can be made worse by careless loading. We winch and load accident-damaged vehicles with care, secure them properly for transport, and deliver them to your chosen destination — a repairer, a storage location or your home address.
If your insurer has asked you to arrange recovery, keep your incident reference handy and photograph the scene and the vehicle before it is moved, if it is safe to do so.
